Lifeline Ambulance Company

Locally owned and operated, LifeLine Medical Transport serves areas of Ventura County with quality medical transportation and innovation.  The company works closely with Ventura County Fire Department throughout the Ojai Valley.  Answering calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Lifeline’s team of highly trained paramedics (EMT-P) and emergency medical technicians (EMT-B) provide the community with pre-hospital emergency care as well as non-emergency medical transportation.

Process

  • Lifeline accepts applications for EMT-Basic and EMT-Paramedic on a continuous basis.

  • Download, print and complete the application.  An original signature is required.

Prerequisite

Emergency Medical Technician Requirements

  • State of California EMT certification
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • An original DMV printout, H-6 Form
  • Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification
  • Department of Motor Vehicles Ambulance Driver's certificate
  • ICS-100 completion certificate; Available at www.fema.gov

Paramedic Requirements

  • Ventura County Accredited Paramedic or State of California Paramedic certification
  • Valid California Driver's license
  • An original DMV printout, H-6 Form
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
  • Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification
  • Department of Motor Vehicles Ambulance Driver's certificate
